A Smile

A smile is such a beautiful thing.
It can say so much and is so easy to do.
For a smile is a universal symbol of friendship.
A smile cannot be faked nor can it be imitated.
A fake smile is an obvious sign of an unhappy sole.
A smile can often explain what words cannot.
For words without meaning are themselves meaningless.
A smile can bring more joy than any money or materialistic things.
For no amount of money can bring a smile to a dying person's face.
Only another smile can do what all the money in the world can't do.
A smile can make two people feel at ease unlike any words can do.
It says I accept you as you are and welcome you
into my world just the way you are.
And to accept something for what it is,
is the warmest and friendliest thing you can do.
Smiles are so easy and feed upon themselves.
One smile can almost always bring about another
that in return makes the original smile even more powerful.
The smiles feed upon each other.
They feed until the two souls become flush with happiness.
And happiness is what we all really want but don't know how to achieve.
But the smile can do it every time.
So smile because you care.
After all I smile every time I think about you.
